| Description: Dreams is one of the great Van Halen songs now transcribed for string orchestra. As a string player, Wood was enamored with Eddie Van Halen and was a big influence on him while studying at Juilliard. The upbeat and positive posture of this composition was a big attraction to Wood as a musician, and it was an honor to show great respect to the song and the string world! The tempo is brisk, yet very attainable, and the key was purposely lowered to A major for better playability. The play-along tracks feature Wood’s personal band! |
