Order Tips

Backorders - We make every attempt to keep as much music in stock as possible to accommodate fast shipping; however, occasionally there are items that are on backorder. These items will be indicated on your invoice when you receive the balance of your order. Backordered items generally take 7-10 business days to arrive and will be shipped to you as soon as they arrive to our warehouse. If you need your music by a certain date, please indicate that information in the comments box while placing your order and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Scores vs. Extra Scores - Educational works often include the conductor's score in the set of parts. In the case of most professional compositions, the score is sold separately. These are distinguished on the website using the terms "Score" and "Extra Score". Scores are sold separately, extra scores are included in the set.

Transposed Parts - Many Luck's Music publications contain wind parts that have been transposed into modern keys. In most cases these parts are included in the set of parts, if not it will be noted in the comments sections.

Chorus Parts - There is a 10 copy chorus part minimum purchase for all chorus parts under $5 and for most published by someone other than Luck's Music Library. Please contact us if you have a question regarding chorus part minimum purchases.

Different Editions - Many titles may have different editions available. We do not recommend mixing editions because the works often do not match.

Individual Parts - In many cases individual extra parts can be purchased.  However, there are several instances where it is not possible to purchase individual parts because the publisher does not allow for it. A few examples of items that can’t be sold separately include wind parts for Urtext editions such as Barenreiter and individual parts from solo and ensemble works.  Please contact us if you have a question regarding purchasing individual extra parts.
