A charming Grade 1 work for full orchestra, Momentos From the Past uses a simple melody to allow beginning musicians the gratification of playing as a group. Based on a five-note scale, the melody begins with a unison question in the string and wind sections, followed by a harmonic answer. This is excellent for honing intonation, rhythmic skills, and ensemble playing. The supportive piano and percussion parts reinforce. |
