| Description: “Yellow” is the third movement from the suite, “Krisanna’s Colors”, inspired by her color choices used to describe her daily emotions and moods. A yellow day for Krisanna was bright and cheery, which she freely shared with others. “Yellow” is a delightful and energetic selection for concert and festival performance, scored here for the full orchestra. The infectious melody is presented throughout the orchestra including a fugue statement. You may consider programming Yellow (Mvt. 3) along with Blue (Mvt. 2) for even greater effect. An excellent choice for your concert/festival program! |
