Nate Beversluis

Nate Beversluis is a conductor, pianist, and composer active in multiple genres. In addition to writing original music, Nate creates unique contemporary arrangements of American Songbook classics for jazz artists and transcribes existing classical music for other instrumentations and ensembles. His arrangements and orchestrations have been performed by The Florida Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, the Henry Mancini Insitute Orchestra, Colorado Symphony with Hilary Kole, and members of the Berlin Philharmonic. He has won awards from BMI and ASCAP, including several ASCAPlus Awards, the ASCAP Henry Mancini Award for Jazz Composition and the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award.

As a conductor, he specializes in concerts for children and families and is co-founder of Some Funny Symphony Company, which specializes in concerts for students, schools, and families.
