Amy King joined the Luck's Music Library staff as Sales Manager in 2008. Amy oversees the operation of the front office, supervises our customer service team, produces the Orchestra and Educational catalogs and all other aspects of the high quality items added to our extensive music database. She also is Head of Marketing, creating advertising pieces including our weekly email newsletter. You may also run into Amy at conventions and conferences, she travels as a representative for Luck’s Music Library.
Amy received a MA degree in flute performance in 2001 and a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education in 1998 both from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to her position at Luck's Music, Amy was the program and operation administrator for the music program at Eastern Michigan University for eight years. In addition to her administrative role, she was also an adjunct professor of flute minor studies, co-director of the flute choir and the color guard coordinator for the EMU Marching Band. Throughout her career she has performed and held principal flute positions in many orchestra and wind ensemble settings. An avid Winter Guard and Drum Corps enthusiast, Amy has taught a countless number of color guards including Phantom Regiment in the summer of 2004. Her other interests include spending time with her husband and two children, boating, traveling, camping, and the Dave Matthews Band. |
