Stephanie Perlaki began her work at Luck's Music in 2016 after graduating from Oakland University where she studied Music Education, Percussion Performance, and World Music. Among her experiences at OU, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Ghana, West Africa and participate in a 50-piece marimba orchestra. She also served as administrator for the Oakland University Cooperative Orchestra Library, managing a collection owned and shared by approximately ten orchestras in the surrounding communities. In this role, Stephanie was mentored by David Daniels and worked directly with the orchestra's librarians to make sure they were able to receive their music in a timely fashion.
As a Luck's Music customer service representative, Stephanie spends the majority of her day on the phone and also handles school district bids. Stephanie is also an active freelance musician in the Metro Detroit area and enjoys playing a variety of music, including orchestral percussion and world music, as well as being part of the worship team at her church.
When Stephanie is not working or playing music, she enjoys spending time with family, taking care of her pet tortoise, Ruby, being outdoors, and making jigsaw puzzles.
