Liz Grapentine started working with Luck’s Music Library in the Summer of 2018. She graduated from Oakland University in 2015 with a degree in Music Education, specializing in Choral Ed, along with an English Minor. At Oakland, Liz engaged with a variety of ensembles including choral, orchestral, african drums, and steel band. She also developed a wide knowledge base of repertoire, composers, instrumental techniques, and musical philosophies.

After graduation, Liz pursued library work at both the Ann Arbor District Library and the Saline District Library. These positions cultivated Liz’s familiarity with resource accessibility and learning the quickest and easiest ways to find the information. At Luck’s Music, she looks forward to aiding customers with their music and information needs, through phone assistance as well as maintaining the Alfred Music Rental operations.

Liz’s other interests include crafting with knits and graphics, reading for fun, dance in all forms, looking out for local and a cappella music artists, art museums and festivals, plus catching up on all the latest and greatest cinema.
