Nicole Tremonti joined the Luck’s Music Library staff in the summer of 2021. She is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at Oakland University with a major in Trumpet Performance and a minor in Music Theory. While a student at OU, Nicole has been able to participate in several ensembles including the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Brass Band, and several brass chamber groups. In the brass band, she has gained extensive experience in several roles on both cornet and tenor horn, and holds a caption award from the Dublin Festival of Brass as Best Solo Tenor Horn. Her favorite composers include Mahler, Shostakovich, and Hindemith. Her favorite trumpet player is Tine Thing Helseth. Nicole is a student of Dr. Jen Oliverio, Dr. Kenneth Kroesche, Gordon Simmons, and Chris Napier. She is also a sister of the Sigma Alpha Iota charter chapter at OU.

Nicole’s previous work experience includes several jobs in the OU School of Music such as box office cashier, equipment manager, and pep band performer. She is also currently employed as a teacher and office administrator at Red Piano Music Studio in Rochester, MI.

As a sales associate at Luck’s, Nicole is responsible for … many things!

Outside of work and music, Nicole enjoys reading, cooking, drawing, knitting, embroidering, thrifting, playing chess, and taking care of her two cats, Sokka and K.C. (Kitty Cat).
